Gamma Medica-Ideas is based in Northridge, California, USA, with branches in Oslo, Norway, and Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada.  All locations are staffed with highly qualified and motivated technological and scientific personnel.

Headquarters

Gamma Medica-Ideas’ headquarters are located in the Northridge suburb/community of Los Angeles, California.

The Northridge branch is responsible for the integration and final assemblies of all pre-clinical and clinical systems including the FLEX Triumph and LumaGEM® Molecular Breast Imaging systems. The company’s facilities consist of 10,000 sq. ft. of office, production and laboratory space and also include sales and marketing.

 

Our European facilities

Our European installations are located in the capital of Norway, in the southern part of this modern Scandinavian country.  The premise is located at Fornebu,10 km from central Oslo, occupying 962 square meters in the technology park IT Fornebu.

Gamma Medica-Ideas (Norway) AS has unique competency in electronics and detection modules for single photon counting and spectroscopic imaging.  The staff is comprised of highly qualified engineers and physicists, technicians, administration, IT and finance people. The company is equipped with CAD tools for ASIC, board level electronics, programmable logic and mechanics design, as well as tools and equipments for micro-assembly and testing.


Our Canadian facilities

Our Canadian facilities are located in Sherbrooke, in the heart of the Eastern Townships region of the province of Quebec.  Our Canadian branch is the smallest of our three locations, but is rapidly growing and is planning to move its installations to larger and more modern facilities.

Our Canadian installations are made up of both production and laboratory space, on top of office space.  The branch is responsible for the development of APD based scanners, as well as testing of the detectors.  It also develops the digital electronics and software required for the APD PET systems.  The experienced staff is made up of engineers/physicists, programmers, senior scientists and administrative/sales and marketing people.
